I don't know about you but my tongue can really get me into trouble. I have really been thinking about the things I say and how I say them. This can be a tough one with the kids. I have been meditating on this verse for the past few days and it has really been convicting.
Proverbs 31:26
When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule when she gives instructions. Life Application version
NIV says:
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
The Message says:
When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly.
When I think about the things I say to and about others....am I always saying things that are worthwhile and kind?
My prayer today is that this would be true of me.
